Dwight opened his own firm in 2015 and offers a wide variety of services in the areas of real estate, family law, corporate law, wills and estates, small claims, and some civil litigation. Montgomery Law expanded in 2023 when Dwight welcomed two new family law lawyers to his firm. Dwight has a B.A. in English from the University of Guelph, and his M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa. Dwight obtained his J.D. from the University of Toronto and was Called to the Bar in 2012. Dwight is proud to offer legal services in his hometown and to encourage new lawyers to practice in Pembroke. Dwight and his team are passionate about providing effective, compassionate, and ethical advocacy to the members of their community. Dwight is proud to offer services in a rural area where there are often limited services available. Dwight’s lawyers offer remote meetings and virtual signing to accommodate a number of clients and Dwight’s real estate lawyers are proudly BGRS qualified to assist with military moves. When away from the office you can often find Dwight spending time with his family, practicing his excellent guitar skills, or participating in sports like Karate.

Samantha offers services in family law including negotiation, preparing for and attending mediation or arbitration, and litigation. Samantha also practices real estate law (including military moves through BGRS), wills and estates, and provides consultations and limited retainers for landlord tenant and small claims matters. She offers a range of services to suit your needs and financial situation including one-time consultations, independent legal advice, limited retainers, litigation coaching, drafting domestic contracts, and full Court proceedings. Samantha is passionate about helping her clients resolve matters outside of Court using alternative dispute resolution. Samantha received extensive negotiation training while in law school where she competed in and won the Rick Weiler Mediation Competition and the Provincial Walsh Negotiation Competition in Family Law. Samantha received her B.A. double majoring in Law and Society and English from Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed her law degree (J.D.) at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. Samantha also volunteers as a member of Innocence Ottawa out of the University of Ottawa. Samantha was Called to the Bar in 2023. When away from the office, Samantha can be found reading (hopefully with her cat on her lap), singing showtunes, and spending time with family and friends, preferably on the river.

Lisa offers a range of services in family law including full service and limited scope assistance with negotiation, drafting, and court proceedings. Lisa also provides services in the areas of real estate law, small claims, and civil litigation. Her practice is informed by a whole-client and trauma-informed approach. Lisa is dedicated to her clients and her community. In addition to practicing as a lawyer, she is a town Councillor for the Town of Petawawa. Lisa obtained her B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Guelph. She completed her law degree (J.D.) at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law and was Called to the Bar in 2023. When away from work Lisa can be found marvelling at her cat Emily, spending time with her family, volunteering in the community, and proudly fulfilling her duties as Town Councillor.

Stacey has 17 years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk and has been with the Office of Dwight Montgomery since 2015. Stacey graduated from the Law Clerk Program at Algonquin College (Ottawa Campus) in 2007. She is best known for her excellent work and detailed attention to client matters. Stacey’s years of experience as a real estate law clerk allows her to handle every legal matter with excellence. Stacey has experience in the legal areas of real estate, wills and estates, corporate law, and family law. Stacey currently works primarily as a real estate and corporate law clerk and she also has extensive experience as a wills and estates clerk. When away from work you can often find Stacey baking the most incredible desserts which she sometimes shares with the office (much to her co-workers' delight).

Lindsay has contributed to the Office of Dwight Montgomery in a variety of roles since the fall of 2020. While beginning as a legal receptionist, Lindsay now operates as a Real Estate Law Clerk. Lindsay has knowledge and expertise in the areas of real estate, wills and powers of attorney, and law office administration. Over the years, Lindsay’s role in the office has grown along with her knowledge and this has allowed her to excel in her position as a law clerk. In 2010, Lindsay obtained her Executive Office Administration Certificate from Algonquin College and worked for several years in the service industry. Her excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and management experience compliments our office and clients well. When Lindsay is not at the office, she eagerly waits for the summer months so that she can enjoy a round of golf with her friends and play softball.

Teri has experience in the areas of family law, real estate, wills and estates, and legal administration. Teri is often the first point of contact for incoming clients, and she is dedicated to assisting all clients who are seeking legal assistance.
